Closed length is the spec that decides whether a model goes in a bag or a pocket. We publish it in centimetres and inches, because that is the number your listing has to state.
All four models are produced on our own line, which is why we can publish closed length and rib count without waiting on a third party. Model specifications only — 8 means 8, 10 means 10.
UV protection options
An umbrella blocks UV in two ways: the fabric density and the coating applied to the inside face. A black coating layer is what turns an ordinary canopy into a sun umbrella, and it is the reason a UV model costs slightly more than the equivalent plain build.
We produce black-coated canopies on the mini capsule and 3-fold platforms. The rating we state is UPF 50+, confirmed by a test report we can send you — the standard the test was performed to is stated on the report itself, and we do not put a rating on a page without the document behind it.
If you are listing a sun umbrella on a marketplace, the rated value on your listing has to match the report. We give you the report so the two agree.
What a UV order needs from you
Canopy colour (coating is applied to the inside face, so the outside colour is unaffected), the model you are building on, and the destination market so we send the right report.
Minimums are the same as any other custom order — 24 pcs from stock, 100 pcs with your logo, 300 pcs for full-canopy print.
Folding umbrella specs, in both units
Closed length and weight are the specs your listing needs. Confirm the exact build before you quote your client.
Weight is the net weight of the umbrella without packaging and varies slightly with handle choice and print method. UPF ratings are stated on the test report for the specific canopy ordered.
Packing & shipping information
Folding umbrellas pack tighter than any other category, which is why they are the easiest line to ship by carton, by container or by courier.
Loadings assume standard carton configuration. Individual gift packaging reduces the quantity — we recalculate when packaging is specified.

Buyers compare 20 cm against 32 cm before anything else. We publish it in both units per model so your listing copy writes itself from the spec sheet.
